Selection guide for communication solutions
This portfolio entry helps you scope a communication solutions requirement with Destiny Computer System. It describes solution areas to discuss rather than a fixed equipment bundle. The products and configuration are selected after the application and site conditions are reviewed.
Equipment and functions to discuss
- Voice over IP
- EPABX Solutions
- IVRS Solutions
- Multi-Line Telephony
- Restricted Access
- Internal Intercom
- IP Telephony
- Video Conferencing
Information for an accurate quotation
- How many users, extensions and locations are involved?
- How should incoming calls reach teams or departments?
- What existing telephone or intercom equipment is in use?
- Are IVRS, access restrictions or conferencing required?
Communication equipment depends on the wider installation, including cabling, network availability, power and connection points. Existing equipment and service arrangements are assessed before proposing a change. Where conferencing is required, meeting-room and collaboration needs can be discussed alongside voice communication.
Installation, integration and handover
The agreed implementation can cover installation, configuration, call-flow testing and user guidance. We clarify the required calling arrangement before commissioning so the handover relates to how your team will actually use the system. Ongoing support and maintenance can be planned for the equipment included in the project.
Confirm the project scope
Ask the team to confirm the proposed equipment, quantities, required accessories, installation responsibilities and support coverage. Any existing equipment to be retained should be identified before the quotation is finalised. Product availability and the final configuration are confirmed for the particular project.
